You like running and keeping fit, then the first thing you should take care of are your feet, as healthy feet will only mean better running and athletic performance. Your feet have to perform an inevitable task of bearing the brunt of your fitness regimen. Although at times they get the credit of the entire labour, but what they never get is the proper care and pampering they deserve. Good feet deserve good shoes
Your feet have to endure a lot during any exercise and thus having more than one good pair of shoes as only one shoe cannot suffice if you are a regular runner. Having an ordinary shoe to go on a running instead of a specialized one equals to going for a battle without an armour. A wrong shoe for an activity will only mean a broken nail, bruised toe or an injured heel, and obviously you don’t want any. So, go ahead and get yourself a shoe which compliments your gait and foot pronation. If you are not sure about the shoe you want to shop for, then your best bet will be visiting a Sports Station Store near you where the store employees will be able to tell you which shoe is meant for your feet.

Don’t’ forget to sock up
Don’t think that only wearing a good pair of shoe will help as it will be better to compliment your shoe with the right performance sock. You never know as it might push your overall performance by many notches.

Stretching & other foot exercises
Stretching and getting proper feet exercise before a run or other similar fitness regimen will help you avoid any foot injury. Perform some good exercises like toe raises and heel drops.

Get a foot massage
Now isn’t that a great therapy. What will be better than a thorough foot massage.
